A Novel Based on the true life story of George Polgreen Bridgetower.
It's 19th century London, one of the world's greatest musician, George Polgreen Bridgetower, dies at the age of 78, in poverty and obscurity. At his side, his constant companion, his violin. Upon his demise, a letter is sent to his only living relative, his daughter. She receives the letter and is bewildered; George Bridgetower is unknown to her. She's compelled to attend his funeral and discovers the man who claims to be her father is of African descent. a Black Man. She then finds her self forced to find this man's true daughter or accept a heritage that will destroy her world.
This is the story of a woman who searches for her true soul through the life of a man she never knew. Gerorge Polgreen Bridgetower was a master violinist by the age of ten and performed before Kings and lived as a Prince. As a man, he performed with masters like Beethoven, who composed a sonata for him, and he played his violin to thousands with command performances before the King of England, however,he died poor and alone. His life story is a testimony to the world what a person of African heritage can accomplish if he is not excluded and judged based on the color of his skin.
